‘DPL’ new single by Pele L. & Fuego

marks the First move from 53

Today, Kuala Lumpur native Pele L. returns with his highly anticipated new single and music video “Don’t Pull Up (DPL)” [feat. Fuego]. The dynamic collaboration finds Pele L. seamlessly showing off his egoistic side and marrying it with his signature brand of potent bars, resulting in a powerful and impactful listen. The song which comes with its official music video follows Pele L.’s signature combination of hard-hitting songs balanced with his entertaining personality.

Directed by ATG, the cinematic video sees Zynakal, AbuBakarXli and GBKlique co- star alongside Pele L. and Fuego. The clip centres around a high-octane car theft or grand theft auto with big screen-worthy production. The trap-infused track, which sports a stunning feature from rising Kuala Lumpur artist Fuego, elevates the song’s infectious optimism to new heights. Its timely message brims with loyalty, brotherhood and is a community-based anthem of Melawati and their newly founded record label, 53 Entertainment.

The song finds these two immaculate rappers viciously rap-talking about their usual concerns: moving forward in life, snakelike enemies, and their inability to trust anyone except their closest friends. Proclaiming the friendship they have, and the loyalty that comes with being signed to the same label. The song’s production furthers the use of 808s that brings out a different kind of vibe and feel to the music.

“DPL” is only the tip of the iceberg. The spark ignites brighter knowing there are much more to come from 53 Entertainment
